  1. In a large pot heat up your margarine........
  2. Sauté onion until tender, then add minced garlic.......
  3. Next add to pot : beef broth, white beans, oregano, black pepper and Sazon, heat until mixture boils......
  4. Now add your cut up ham, stir well......
  5. Next add the egg noodles and green beans, heat for several minutes until egg noodles are tender.....

The secret to any good soup is the stock from which it is made. So first, the ham stock should be made separately from any other ingredients because it takes a few hours to get the ham flavor fully out of a ham bone. I make ham bone soup with white kidney beans, garlic, and chopped escarole. Of course , I also season with salt and pepper to taste.
